Hi and welcome! Thank you for your yes to pray the rosary at some point. If the Blessed Virgin Mary had not given her “yes” to the Angel Gabriel the ominous task of delivering Christ the King, we would have no hope; because there would not have been the ultimate sacrifice that opened the gates of Heaven for us!  If Our Lady’s “yes” gave us eternal life, imagine the infinite possibilities with your simple yes to God!  Our Lady’s Request began as a 54-day rosary prayer group that began April 2020.  https://www.stpatricks.org/documents/54-day-novena-for-nation-2020 .  

5-10 of us have been meeting daily ever since April 2020.  You will see us in the zoom prayer room at different times in the day, depending on what our vocation calls for.  The vocation is the place we choose in life to serve God.  I chose marriage and family. Alternatively, people choose to live as religious – like priests, and nuns or sisters.  Most people are not choosing religious vocations these days, because the world tells us to love ourselves instead.  If everyone is busy reciting affirmations of self-love all day, who will lead us back to God?  Our Lady will always be by your side, waiting for your yes, to help her lead all humans/God’s children, back to God the Father through his son, Christ the King.

In MATTHEW 18:19-20, Jesus Christ says “where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”  We are here to pray to make sure that we keep Jesus in the midst of us – so we can stay on the path of God’s will for us all the way to the paradise of the afterlife.

Will I be notified of prayer times?

If you email me at jennifer@ourladysrequest.com, I can add you to a whatsapp text string for notifications for prayer times; AND rich nuggets of knowledge throughout the day from people of all ages and cultures.  (You will see that we are all united as one in Jesus – in his same image and likeness – and nothing can separate us from Him!)

Once I have access to the prayer room, how does it work?

  1. Rosary begins on time usually – there may be  a 1-2 minute wait. Generally, it takes about 15 minutes to pray 5 decades at the 3 different rosary prayer times.  It takes 20 minutes for the Seven Sorrows Rosary.  We spend 10 minutes on the book review of a saint.  The Divine Mercy Chaplet takes 11 minutes.
  2. Keep a window open next to zoom with the “Rosary Prayer Page” open so you can follow along with the prayers. (MAYBE A VIDEO?) Video will display on the password protected page only. Jennifer is working on the video.
  3. Cameras are generally turned off, because people are praying with us from their phones and desks from all over the world.  We want to minimize distraction so we can stay aware of our mental presence in the “upper room” with Jesus and his saints and angels right now in Heaven.
  4. Feel free to greet people and talk before we begin .  If you have special prayer requests, please share them before the rosary begins.  You can also post a PRAYER REQUEST OR PRAISE to the whatsapp text string anytime….
  5. When rosary begins, mute your microphone unless you want to help open for rosary, or lead a decade.  If someone speaks at the same time as you, you will have a chance to speak at the next decade.  Everyone is very courteous!  “Chat” with me if you need help – or email me anytime. 
  6. We have confidence that our prayers are being heard by Jesus in Heaven because in PSALM 145:13, Jesus Christ says, “the Lord is faithful to all His promises.”
