THE MANA FOR TODAY: The Holy Eucharist is our food from Heaven!
Called the “Saint of the Internet,” Saint Carlo Acutis, canonized by Pope Francis on October 10, 2020, is the first Millennial to be beatified in the Catholic Church
He said, “They must be able to see.” Carlo wanted people to understand that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist by showing the moments throughout history when the Eucharist visibly became flesh and blood. He wanted to show people that the Eucharist was truly his great friend, Jesus. (https://www.stjosephparishneedham.com )
The Italian teenager died of leukemia at the age of 15, after he completed his catalog of the 126 Eucharistic Miracles in the world. Like so many devout saints who made a conscious effort to help Christ quench his thirst for souls on Earth, his body has been incorrupt since he died in 2006. “He saw the Eucharist as the ‘highway to Heaven.’.” (Anne DiBernardo , miamiarch.org). He wanted to share the news that the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ is alive in the world now.
Since Jesus ascended into Heaven, these Eucharistic miracles have been living in our world in the form of:
- 2 g of blood in 5 parts
- Universal Recipient blood type: AB
- Live white and red blood cells are present, signifying a heart in cardiac arrest
